I'm not changing my humour or posting style because someone's going to choose to take offence.

If he's unable to take a bit of stick then he shouldn't be posting here in the first place or drawing attention to himself like he has been doing.

I sincerely hope he doesn't quit but not because I'm trying to sooth his ego here, but I think to quit over this is just utterly pathetic.

Perhaps you should give him a 'Fragile' sash for his avatar, then I'll know not to try and mess around with him in future.

What's [TW]Fox's joke? I know Asim can get a mac10 in 3 minutes, no one knows flibbage0 and kwerk knows everything but what did [TW]Fox do to warrant his own joke?

Nix - Doesn't matter if he chooses to take offence over something minor or not, the fact is he has taken offence to it, so you should at least apologise to him.

BTR just texted me this. Reason I can't text back is that my contract has run out :(

I know you can't text back. But thanks for defending me. Just had enough of my role being questioned. I have been an UB for a year Aug 26th. And to have my role questioned again and again just gets to me. I think 99% people would take it on the chin. Me however takes it to heart. Which is sad I know. Hey ho. Been asked to rethink. Which I will do. BUT tbh I think my time is done. By all means update the thread with this. But I won't be reading the replies. QUEEN wasps forever lol.

I completely understand what Nix is saying, he didn't expect him to take offence and I think he's sorry that he has.

I think this should just be forgotten as it's a bit silly really. He's already made it clear he was joking and surely BTR will understand that.

I'm not apologising as I've done nothing wrong. I've clarified that it was a benign joke, that should for a grown adult be enough. Why do you think I suggested he take a breather? He's clearly strung up about something else if this was taken to heart.

I don't know why I'm retaliating to this, however nobody has asked you to changed your posting style. However everyone is entitled to post on this forum and should not be given stick unless blatantly deserved.
Granted he may have posted some silly things in the past and was ridiculed for it then but to continuously bring it up is uncalled for. Might I add that I was not directly aiming my initial post at you Nix as others have posted similar things, yours just happened to be the first that I saw.

Anyway I'm heading to bed as I have an interview at 9am, good night one and all.

Whether or not you should be apologising Nix, I'm not sure. But from my previous encounters with you on the board, you've always struck me as a pretty caring, straight-up person. I can't imagine there was any malice intended at all, and as you've said, there wasn't.

But surely you can at least understand where people are coming from when they say that it could be taken as offensive? It wasn't just your post, because your post actually triggered some posts from other people. Perhaps he's always had an issue with this, and he's just let it slide before because he's being a nice guy?
