They become visible when they get close to attack and they only appear in a select few locations, usually as part of a mission. They're supposed to be exceptionally good predators and make you REALLY cautious about advancing in underground areas when you suspect they're around.

It's annoying that I can't activate my retail copy of Stalker on Steam.

Finally got Stalker Clear Sky and for £1.99 too!

ALso the Valve complete pack seems a mental price @ 24.99. I asume if for instanceI already have some of the pack I am able to gift them to friends?

You don't have to find feathers or gold to progress the story.

Really want to get GTA IV cheap if possible, have the DLC already and i've seen a gorgeous mod on Kotaku that makes the game look amazing.

Has GTA been on sale yet?

You assume incorrectly :/ It warns you that you can't right before purchase.
