Any good? Interested to know how much detail it goes it. The type of pitch etc.
I've played MLB 2k10 was good, the pitching was realistic with the XBOX360 pad like if you did a fastball you had to hold it down(the rightstick) then move up but it had to be a straight line or it may go rightside/leftside a bit and if you jilted it as you moved it may end up as a wild pitch. (other pitches like knuckleballs will be a lot harder to pull off resulting in you having to push the stick to one direction diagonal for a few seconds then move it 270 degrees then letting go....depending on your pitcher's gesture and ball movement for certain pitches he will perform it better.)
I suggest watching a youtube pitching vid to see it but i found it quite nice at least different to other baseball games.
If you are a fan of baseball at £7.49 it should be a good buy as My Player mode alone was quite nice....then you got online modes/franchise mode/Homerun Derby+others which i haven't checked yet for 2k11.
The char models are pretty nice aswell and the roster/games update as you play like if you are playing today in it, it will have the American League vs National League game shown on main screen which you can play with same team lineups as tonight.(it's on 1am those who want to watch it.)
I am buying it for sure as i waited for Steam to get it and now they do with 50% off it's great.
