Freeview HD?

Digital changeover happened today in my area, will my Freeview HD work now?

Freeview HD is digital. Why would it go off?

Do a rescan at most

I don't think you needed to wait until the digital switchover to get HD channels.

The switchover is just a turn off of Analogue TV signals I think...

HD and switchover is different things.. We had our switch over last month, but are not due HD until december 2012

The only reason you will have needed to wait for the switchover if Freeview HD is already transmitting is if the the Mux the HD channels are on was low power and you couldn't get a signal and now they're transmitting at a higher power without analogue on the transmitter.

I've got a Panasonic G20, never received Freeview HD before.

Just googled and says im due it on the 20th, this whole thread could have been avoided

If you are on the Sudbury transmitter which I guess you are like me , the switchover is in 2 stages with the final analogue switch off on the 20th July , they then start HD on C47 , they aren't broadcasting it yet .

Just noticed Craigkelly has four HD channels broadcasting. (ch50 - 54)
