Tatty? I can see 1 cheap leather refurb, it only needs to last till its sold, thats 150 quid or do it yourself just the bolsters and steering wheel for 60 quid.
Then some stone chips, thats 200 quid on the bonnet and bumper.

Bad timing though. I'm going away for 3 weeks and then I've got an 8 day driving ban, and then it's back to work.
If the Swede steals the Turbo then I'll wait until August and start doing this properly when there's no rush.

I wouldnt get hung up on what the car is its the money your going to earn thats important, if you think theres a possible 30k in this i'd duff the turbo and get this.
A mod has got to be smart ALL the time.

Yeah I did. Got a 17page PDF and had a long chat with the inspector over the phone.
The wings were full of filler, paint thickness off the scale, electric/heated passenger seat didn't work.
MEGA stone chips over the bonnet and the rear arches. You can see it, it's all grey.
The speedo's in MPH but the seller claims it's reading kms.
The VIN didn't match the V5(!), and the leather on the dash was peeling back.
Mechanically it was sound though.
I think it's easier to shift as a dealer, especially as it's been freshly imported from the UK. I doubt he's bothered to register it yet.
I'm not looking to import anything any more. I don't really have the funds or the time. And the exchange rate isn't as favourable as it was in the summer. Perhaps if the Euro crashes, but not at the moment
