I watch tonnes of films, I always watch whatever is on and I consider myself a film geek and also to be quite anal in my very high standards of films.
The Adjustment Bureau took me by complete surprise and I very much enjoyed it.
My three most recently watched films are;
- Akira
- The Green Lantern
- Transformers 3
Akira is one of my favourite films of all time, It's amazing, I'd happily write a novel about how good I think it is, brilliant, has had such a massive influence in cinema (a lot of western cinema released now can still see bits of Akira in it) and how Japanese anime is received elsewhere. Ground breaking and brilliant.
The Greenlantern sucked, mis cast and just bad. I love comic book adaptations, I really do, but this shouldn't of been made. Awful.
Transformers 3, meh, it does what it says on the tin, robots, fights, explosions, very attractive woman, not much acting, oh wait got some decent actors in to do minor roles to make up for the lack of acting, more explosions. Awful "film", enjoyed it throughly though as I'm a bit nerdy and enjoy stupid mindless action, that said It felt like it went on for several days and it almost did. Okay, I'm rambling and being far too nice to what was an awful film directed by an awful director.
