Looking for a new monitor that is not an LG E2360 as I'm about to return the second one of these delivered to me due to dead pixels on both.

I'm looking to spend about £150, I want 22" or bigger (preferably 23"), and I want it to be 1920x1080 minimum. Will be used for gaming on the rig in my sig.

Cheers for any help or advice you're willing to give as well ladies and gents.

What makes that screen significantly better than others though? If I'm honest, I'm at a complete loss.

What are the best characteristics to look out for when choosing?

My main computer activity is flight sim and employing three 22 inch widescreen monitors side by side ( to fit into my space) so slim bezels is a major consideration.
Does anyone know if 3 with 1920 spec would go well with the TripleHead2Go box?
Or are they all equally serviceable?

Well, I went for my budget and have gone with the BenQ G2420HDBL. I shopped around a tad and got it just below my budget.

I only really use it for web browsing gaming and watching films occasionally (even then I've got my 32" Samsung to watch those on!) and it seems to get pretty good feedback from other buyers so I figured it'd be a safe bet. Will have it by Tuesday I think.

Meanwhile, I have Yodel and DHL both coming to pick an LG E2360 each and they're both taking them to the same place. South American logistics clearly leave much to be desired.

Let me know how you find it. I know I have been less than complimentary about it at times in comparison to (at the time) similarly priced Samsungs, but it seems that you can get a pretty nice deal on it at the moment. The majority of user feedback is also very positive and speaks volumes about how the 'average user' will find the experience - like money well spent. :)

Will do mate.

Precisely why I opted for it to be honest, purely on the back of what the "average" user is. consider myself to be in that category so we shall see!

Meanwhile, I think I'm going to pee the retailer of that I'm sending both LG's back to. One has a cluster of about 4-5 dead pixels that I wanted to send back. The replacement is going back with a couple of dead pixels. They're going to think I'm incredibly picky, but I was paying for a product I expected to be in perfect condition :)

So my new monitor arrived today! Was a bit dubious about the packaging at first so took pictures for the "just in case" scenario as you can see here:

Looks to me like it had its seals previously broken and then selotaped over

Anyway, here's my bad boy already set up. Ran some online dead pixel tests straight away, and unlike the two LG's I ordered there are none!

Mainly because it's a cheap e-IPS screen, so better viewing angles, ect. Plus, for an IPS, it's got great input lag stats, that kind of thing.

The antiglare used on it is also less rough than the film on the U27, but can still be annoying if you sit close.

That's about it really.

So what do think of this monitor J-FRO? I'm thinking of getting one myself.

So far I'm really impressed. Think i've got a dodgy cable connecting it to my gfx card though. Either that or I need to tighten it up as occasionally I get like a flicker across the bottom of the screen but that's no biggy at the moment.

Plays HD films/videos really nice and clearly and the colours from what I can tell with my rookie experience are pretty good. Nice and clear and bright. Got it for £145 from south america and to be honest, for a 24" monitor at that price I've got no complaints.

In game so far I've had a chance to use it whilst playing Assassins Creed: Brotherhood and Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light, obviously the latter wasn't anything to impress me much with but wit AC:B I was pretty impressed. Love it.
