My new year resolution as of last Thursday is to spend every Saturday sorting my cars out. She didn't take much convincing either, as long as I promised to get stuff done.

So today I have picked up the axle for my hotrod and dropped off the block for my Anglia for some machining. Then on my return I did some (actually quite a lot of) welding on a mate's Midget and we pulled the redundant engine and box out of my Anglia. He then presented me with a rear bumper for the Anglia and some louvred hood sides which will go on my T, relayed through a couple of chaps on Retro Rides :p

The weather has been fine, I have a welder's tan, no fingertips and I've played some top tunes on my iPod converted radio. I even partly tidied the garage :)

Anyone else had a productive day? Tell me your stories

I started picking at the peeling steering wheel in the E60 today.

Has inspired me to remove all of it and either di-noc it or polish it up.

so... no. :(

Got my car aligned this morning after I finished fitting polybushes to the wishbones on Wednesday. To say the alignment was out would be an understatement :p

Yep! Cleaned the car :)

Iv dona a bottle of scotch and half a bottle of vodka i call that productive :()

Mostly engine work. Modified the idle control jet, fitted a new idle cut off valve, fitted the exhausts properly, rebuilt part of the casing, swapped a centrifugal distributer for an vacuum advance one and re-timed the engine.

Refitted the harnesses, tidied up the front lights - and the Baja is not far off going for an MOT.

The best thing you can do is grab the wife and come roundf here, we will be waking up on tuesday :)
Lol, I came through your way this morning as well. If I'd have known, it might not have been a productive day :D

Helped a friend move house, so not a bad day at all in terms of productivity, given he lives two floors up.

More to go tomorrow, but all the heavy lifting is done.

Cleaned, polished and waxedthe supra with gibbo. Weather was on and off so took quite a long time! Dressed the tyres and fitted new window wipers also :D

My RSV Mille is booked in for it's MoT on Monday so I stripped back all the plastics and cleaned it from top to bottom this afternoon. Gave it a service, changed the oil, filter and plugs. Swapped the number plate back to the "barn door" sized original one and fitted the BS stamped baffles to the exhausts. Took up my whole afternoon but I'm now ready for Monday. Should breeze through the MoT. :D

Nothing major, but got my ZZR cleaned up and ready to sell. Just popping out to replace the flaking fairing screws with new ones I bought and then am waiting for the flurry of buyers to start pestering me from PH and eBay!
Oh, and took the Disco in for it's MOT today and it's still with them as it failed on most of the steering components :(
