Need some advice from an assault

+1 for Eden Lake - first time I watched that it was a right shock to the system lol

Good job fighting off the ***hole though - keep an eye out for him/them over the next week or so, he probably won't like being defeated...
 
Bend and bang to be honest, in all seriousness just put this down to one of life's many joyous events and move on. Do you think the little gob ****e that asked you for a fight is stewing over this? I think not.
 
Yeah I probably will go back because I really like it there. I would bring big friends but I think I am the biggest out of all of my friends :L (6ft 4", athletically built) I think it would be safer if I had more friends along with me because my group split off before we went to the quarry (about 13 others went to the common).

I wasn't provoking it was just they were throwing rocks at me and there were 2 girls behind me and I could not just leave it without telling them to stop.

I will give the police a name and tell then about the message tomorrow but after that I am going to leave it and enjoy the rest of my summer.

I don't think I have ever watched a film before quite like Eden Lake, where I have wanted to skull **** the television so much out of frustration.

Without CCTV or some actual proof you won't get very far. All his mates will tell a tale and there will be no evidence etc. If anyone recorded the incident on their phone it could even be skewed to make you look like the bad guy. I'd just leave it and be happy that it wasn't more serious.

total rubbish

the very only reason that nothing gets done about things like this is because of rumors of ''nothing will get done'' so no one bothers reporting

people seriously think if OP or his mate shows up to the police station with proof of injuries and the lads name along with details of 3/4 witnesses that nothing will get done ?

if hes an 18yr old chav who hangs around with kids causing trouble he will be known to the police anyway. easy job and easy decision for any court. as for 'hassle' well it will probably consist of reporting it and not much else , might even get a nice compensation cheque through the post in the future

My best mate, step brother and I got jumped by around 7 or 8 chavs purely because i was defending a girl that all 3 of us were walking back to her house (it was 3 or 4am). Fortunately, even though they were all older they all came off worse. Oh and even a guy on crutches joined in! I got a metal crutch across the head, scum. Fortunately they were with a load of girls and other guys who didn't join in who ended up trying to stop the fight. After it all stopped I rang the police and it just ended up being more hassle than it was worth because we had no evidence so I jut told the police it doesn't matter any more, plus most of them came off quite a bit worse than us so without evidence it could have gone against us.

And so is life.:o:mad:

As others have said, you missed out on giving this but of scum what it deserved. He is clearly the kind of person that throws around their weight knowing that the likely hood of him getting a beating is pretty slim, probably because he only goes for people younger/smaller than him and a group smaller than his (which is what happened with you). This kind of person really needs a good kicking to put him in his place otherwise he will just carry on picking fights.

When my house was being terrorized by chavs (16 and under) i once waited for them to fly past on their hair dryers and try to grab one of them off (failed). Kinda shows i was mental ill and would do anything to get them back. Before that i chased a few of them down the road with a knife.

So i guess the moral of my story is, do something that will make them not want to **** you off.
