Yeah something like that :D
Where did you go? - you lot disappeared, four of us were left and we decided to go.

Anyway - When/where is the next one :)

Good day indeed guys, really enjoyed it - we musy do something like this soon again.
SDK, where did you disappear to?!

Remove your chain ejector device before next time!

Only two people saw me dive into the nettles at the start and it's not on camera :D :o

Great ride today! Fantastic weather and a really good turn out.

I've never been to Cannock before and it was a lot of fun, it's pretty easy going with a good mix of downs, flat and climbs, non of the climbs are very steep and I reckon with good fitness you could tear around it without stopping really.

They need to repair all the braking bumps!! It's not a problem if you're on a squishy bike but I imagine on a hardtail it'd seriously suck your speed unless you avoided all them, taking really slow lines on the inside of corners. Also, go with wide bars (720mm+) and you'll have lots of fun tree-dodging :D

It was great to meet you guys and put some faces to these forum names we see every day. We should definitely do something like this again (that more people can get to) Wales meet next?!

You have me confused with Andelusion ;)

loler yup I dropped my chain 3 times, had this bike a couple of months now and this is the first time I've dropped it so much - testament to how many braking bumps there are, it survived 3 days at Glentress/Innerleithen without coming off once. Reckon I need to put my inner bashguard 'bashwich' on.

The braking bumps can be annoying. Riding the course on my XC bike with 100mm of travel it's a challenge to maintain my line but with 150mm travel I just float over them :)

The problem with repairing the track is that before long it'll be back to the same state again.
Also, we are MTB'ers with serious bikes. If you want smooth tracks then stick to the fire roads, otherwise man up :p

I like Llandegla and its easy fire road climb for passing all the people with monster travel bikes ;) Only the black has a steepish switchback climb, you can fly down the other runs!

The section we looped back on today before I went was my favourite, decent view of the trail ahead in the most part and pretty smooth mostly with some decent yumps/jumps.

I felt SDKs picture needed a caption, especially with Andelusion's Usain Bolt impression :p

Doh, sorry, my bad :(

Open mouth, insert foot.... and I'm big enough not to ninja edit my post :p
Readon why i thought so, was because the first round they did not have the trap there.
