I advice you SICILY but absolutely not im summer. I've been there several time but in winter or autumn. From june to august temperature can arrive approximately on 40 degree or sometimes more...I friend of me that comes from sicily always says..."during the summer we can cook a steak on the stone". Positive points: most of Restaurants are good or very good, several amazing landscape. Negative points: some parts of sicily are in bad or very bad conditions, especially buildings and houses.
