I've no idea why you wouldn't use the number keys lol.

I started off (in FPS games in general, not in BFBC2) using the mouse wheel. It's quite handy if you're just starting to play a game and don't know which numbers link to which weapon.

but it isnt just bad company most fps games the mouse wheel is slower than your keys.

so not really dices fault you just need to play differently tbz_ck

I use the numbers on the side of my mouse. 12 to choose from.

I'm struggling to find out how to use these flares on the choppers!

When do i use them? Is it as soon as i know i've been tagged or just before impact? I really can't grasp it.

I've always used numbers as the mouse wheel is noticeably slower - not to mention you can 'overshoot' in times of stress and end up trying to hit them with your ammo box

Lol, l'v overshot acouple of times trying to do a fast repair > scrolling for drill end up selecting rocket, you can guess the rest. imho

Done that before, i've also gone to arm an M-COM, picked up an engineer kit without realising, went to press the defib key to rez someone but i ended up firing the rocket launcher and killed myself.
