It is now official and the change is "Add Memory Recheck feature". This looks like a memory error message bypass on boot.
Anyway, saved profiles don’t work with 1301 so you will have to re-enter again. 1208 is stable for me and I’m leaving it at that.
A quick heads up. New BIOS 1401 are up on the Asus FTP site.

Anyone else keeping their RIIIE + I7 CPU until death do you apart?![]()
Anyone else keeping their RIIIE + I7 CPU until death do you apart?
the leaked results of LGA 2011 performance are underwhelming, nothing like E8400 > I7 920 was.
And they are like completely worthless now when you can buy a new I5 2500k + Z68 mobo for around £300.
An I7 920 + RIIIE would struggle to sell for £250-300 second hand.
I might treat myself to a Rampage IV Extreme.![]()
It tempted me, but I cant shell out that much on a new mobo so soon, plus the performance increase on the new CPUs is underwhelming.
I7 920 @ 4.2 Ghz will still be good for several more years.
