Hi guys, was out in the park with a mate slack lining and some guy came over wanting a go, so said yeah sure. After a couple of goes and chatting to us, he jumped on the line and then came a cropper.

We got him into the car and took him to A&E as it looked like a potential break and the hospital was not far away at all. I'm just worried that because it was my slack line in a public place, does that make me liable for a compensation claim? :(

Cheers

Lol, webbing stung up between two tree and then made taught with a ratch or something to balance on or do tricks on.

Well I feel a bit bad for asking, but just wanted to make sure. Just waiting to hear back from him to say if it is a break or a bad sprain.

I don't think I can class myself as a gamer any more :P

Well, I dunno about liabilities but for him to sue you he needs your full name and address. Does he know those details?

The trees should be asking for compensation if anyone.

yes poor trees!

I can't read any of that first sentence, "slack lining", "came a cropper".

with a little help from google the term 'cropper' is an image editing term meaning to 'crop' something out of a photo, which still dosn't bring sense to this sentence.
lets hope the forum grammer nazi's don't find this thread or you will have more legal cases to deal with

:D

He after a couple of goes and chatting to us, he jumped on and came a cropper.

I don't really understand what you're saying. Has anyone really been far even as decided to use even go want to do look more like?

How can you not know what it means to "come a cropper"?

It always slightly amuses me when people moan about someone using a common idiom. The usual implication is that the moaner isn't terribly well read...
