These gentlemen know the truth. It's a very common phrase. So common that I knew what it was before I was even born.

OP, hard luck. The guy is eligible to claim at the very least a porn-infested second hand PS3. Hard luck. Or alternatively, seek legal advice if you're worried and don't ask GD.

In reality I wouldn't worry personally. Did he even give the impression he wanted to sue? Not everyone's an ****, and I doubt he'd have grounds anyway. He joined in, you didn't garotte him as he innocently walked on by.

Sadly law doesn't always work that.

Reminds me of that case in the press where someone was sued because their daughter's mate jumped into their swimming pool and broke her neck. The reason the case suceeded? They didn't have any warning signs stating the depth of the pool. Law is one huge epic fail sometimes.
