and also agree with having a word with the store, about making sure in future all the harddrives are formatted before being sold

If you go into the shop and explain the situation you may be given a free game as an apology, I think what has bugged most people is the sense of entitlement to be compensated at every opportunity which to be fair is quite prevalent in todays society.
