I'm looking at selling my Mk3 Mondeo Estate. It's a 2.0l petrol Zetec with 104,500 on the clock. Manual, air con, ABS, heated windscreens, airbags, CD/Radio, remote central locking etc. MOT to 21 June 2012 and tax to December 2011. 2 owners from new, full service history, and all documentation including servicing and tax discs.

It's a lovely car - extremely reliable. Drives beautifully. We are only selling because we've decided we want a 7-seater. It has the odd tiny ding (car parks only) and the wheels have some corrosion, but only corresponding to the age of the car - no serious damage or rust. It got four new tyres for the MOT.

There are pics at http://bit.ly/mondeo_estate

I've priced it at £1,395 ono. Does that look like a reasonable price? It looks fine by Autotrader to me?

Currently I'm advertising on a work forum, and a couple of local Facebook groups. However, I'm considering how to move next. Do people think Autotrader is the way to go, Ebay, or the local paper (Cambridge News)?

Sounds like a good price to me, havent compared but i'd be willing to pay that if i needed it.
Autotrader is usually pretty good, followed by local newspaper. If no success go to ebay, but wouldnt reccomend going through paypal.

gumtree is a real pain if you want to search for cars, possibly the place to go for that sort of end of the market.

You can advertise free on pistonheads but thats not really the place i'd go to first for a mondeo (lots there though) nothing to lose except 10 mins putting it up there though

Not anymore afaik.

I had my car up on there for a while but ended up selling it to a friend though I had quite a bit of interest. Cost £10 for 30 days and 9 photo's. Generally people looking on PH are more serious buyers after well maintained cars. On the whole there's less chancers than Autotrader but more people use AT though it is much more expensive.
