Practically my first (sad I know at 21!). Involves something about container unloading. Quite nervous! 8:30-5pm.

Anyone got any idea's what it entails? Shame it's minimum wage.

I would hazard a guess that you may be unloading containers at some point during your day based on what you've written... :p

Joking aside, the first day of any new job can be a little daunting, just try and get to know everyone there and I'm sure someone will show you the ropes. :)

you'll earn ya pay, i used to do something similar for marshall tufflex, unloading pipe off Hgv's ( by hand ) bloody hard work but it's better than nothing lol

Back.

Well just about. Bloody hell that was a hard day! (note the extreme British understatement). Worked with one guy unloading two 40ft containers. So so tough, compounded with heat.

Then I was picking heavy items of shelfs, and helping putting them in for delivery by packaging/palleting them.

All in all, I bloody earned my £6 an hour.

Had one lunchbreak and a 10 minute gap at 3pm.

So knackered now haha. Rinse and repeat tomorrow. :( :O

Looks slightly odd but it'll save your back. As kids we lift correctly but as we get older we become lazier. Had a video about it in manual handling training :)

Here I start again.

My back is already completely knackered. Lord know's how I'm going to manage 9 hours. :(

Hmmm if it was something heavy at all, I'd prefer to keep my heel on the floor and make sure my knees didn't encroach forward any further forward than my toes.
