A week isnt exactly ages... give them chance to process it and sort payment, they probably get thousands of people doing it at once.

I think it's ages considering Mazuma received my phone, checked it and transferred the money into my account in about 4 hours last week.

Sounds exaggerated.

Either way, things take time, you can't always cry "SCAM" when something takes longer than it has before....with a totally different company.

Wait it out, if you hear nothing, hassle them. Pointless getting worked up about it.

Really

I received an e-mail to say it had been received and processed at 1013 on 07 July. Another at 1245 with a PDF showing the bank transfer details. Final e-mail saying transaction completed at 1315. Money was in my account by the end of the working day.

This was after I'd sent it Special Delivery the day before so it hadn't been sitting in their warehouse for ages. So I actually did them a disservice as they processed it in about 3 hours. This is the third time they've performed to a similar level for me. They do seem to offer a bit less money then some of the other companies but I know I can trust them and they are faultless and fast with the procedure.

So although I don't know Cash4mobiles I would say they are taking a long time compared to an established operation.

No you're not just saying its taking a "long time"... youre saying theyre scamming you. Bit of a difference.

Either way, 4 hours for Mazuma processing your order is not average, it's ridiculously quick, and you cant expect other companies to take the same amount of time. A week is not unreasonable at all imo, no need to cry about it yet... give it another week or so and then get worried.

It does beg the question though... if you had such quick service with Mazuma why did you not use them again?

Seems someone got a bit greedy, maybe the Speed to Money ratio was no more.

Besides that, i've only ever used Envirofone, and another one which i cannot remember the name, and it was like last week :p

But they all took between 3-5 days after delivery of the mobile.

Direct Bank Transfers are normally 2-3 working days with companies like this, it was for me, so i presume similar times for others.

Hi just wondering if anyone has used them and if they are legit

I can't speak for the other companies, but certainly here at Envirofone there can be many reasons that your phone takes longer to process than others, likewise there can be problems that arise after testing/grading a phone that result in delayed payment, we would always contact the customer to inform them of such issues however.

I'd double check that none of their emails have fallen on your junk filters, and ask to speak to their customer services supervisor/manager to double check that you have received all communications they have sent you.

Hi paradigm

A week ago I got an email saying payment processed
then after 10 attempts i get through to them yesterday
and they advise that they are upgrading the payment system

so why send me a payment confirmation and by the looks
of it im not the only one as per the recycle compare website

my mate recently put a old nokia into mazuma or some other similar company and he was quoted £49 for it and once it arrived they said it had "water damage" and was only worth £9.. ofcourse he didnt have a picture of it before he sent it etc so he didnt have a leg to stand on. best to take a pic of the phone front n back before sending so if they do try their luck they'll be in the wrong.

Just quoting this bit again to highlight the fact people really should read what's been said and by who more carefully. ;)

Also, I've always recieved money promptly from Mazuma, they've never tried to rip me off either. They even took my iPhone 3GS as working, when it didn't work properly.
