Hi All,
My Eye's are Getting Worse so I think it might be time to get them tested and glasses if needed which I think are.

Thing is I'm 30 now and only ever had them tested once when I was 14 was told i had a slight vision issue in one eye was issued with NHS style glasses as i was under 16 got them free, wore them a couple of times at school then binned them off.

As I work with Computers my company has a scheme where they pay for the eye test so that's sorted, I Also have a private health insurence where I'm coverd upto £240 for optical care so Hope fully a nice set of gegs with £240 not really botherd about a designer label just a good pair that suit.

My question is what's the best place to go, Specsavers, Vision Express, Boots etc or what?

Some of you must have had good and bad things to say, don't fancy being ripped off and talked into paying a fortune etc just a good honest optician

No medial threads.

Medial -

1. Relating to, situated in, or extending toward the middle; median.
2. Linguistics Being a sound, syllable, or letter occurring between the initial and final positions in a word or morpheme.
3. Mathematics Being or relating to an average or a mean.
4. Average; ordinary.
n. Linguistics
1. A voiced stop, such as (b), (d), or (g). Also called media2.
2. A sound, letter, or form of a letter that is neither initial nor final.

Just to clarify which ones are banned.

Technically he'd be comparing eyesight with the average sight for his age so numbers 1, 3 and 4 will count.
