24" Advice please

Also after a 24" but i'm buying 2. replacing my viewsonic 22" and my dell something that is square 1600 x 1200.

its a pain because both screens are different shapes.

I've been running 2 of these:
http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MO-067-IY&groupid=17&catid=510&subcat=
for the past 7-8 months, and I think they're brilliant. Recently had to use the speakers built into one, and frankly they're horrible, but as long as you're using it as just a screen it's great.

I should say, my exposure to other screens is minimal - I used to use Dell 2007FP's (sounds like what you had Corrupt) and now have a DGM L2647 and these Iiyama's. Beyond that, I haven't played with any recent monitors out there, so cannot say if the Iiyama is better or worse than others, I can just say I upgraded to 2 of them and I love them and have had zero issues or cause to complain.

Im also looking at a 24" or 27" monitor im upgrading from CRT and wondering if 2560x1440 is worth getting or just to stick with 1920?

Will be using just for screen ..
May opt for ones you are using as for £150 cant really go wrong.
Just one thing would you say LCD is better than LED for gaming?
What about this one also Iiyama ProLite E2407HDS 24

how about this monitor
http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MO-046-OK&groupid=17&catid=510&subcat=

the specs are completely identical to this monitor
http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MO-071-IY&groupid=17&catid=510&subcat=

but £20 cheaper, the customer reviews also say they got the iiyama monitor.

Yes did see that ...
Thing is there are soo many iiyama monitors around the £150-200 mark( six on the site) to choose from..
So bascially what one is the best for gaming and features..
Would like to opt for the best one as they are all in my price range.
All abit confusing as im lost after looking at response times plus they all 2ms
Other stats and specs im not sure on like contrast ratio and colours etc.

^^ what the fudge, you just got the 23" LG 3D monitor?!

its not for me, the viewing angle is poor.... i have some calibration settings to try when i get home, but if they don't make a difference im returning it. looks nice on games, but lame on web/desktop

Thanks Jony like the look of the LG and its specs plus reviews all seem positive.(is an ugly monitor though and found this review
)
the Dell is also tempting at £30 more but is it worth it over the others to stretch to the Dell . Is going to be a mainly for gaming .
Does the 1" diff from 23 to 24 make any great difference
Still on the fence a bit...
