Hi guys,

I want to send a document via e-mail but unfortunately the attachment is too big. (49.5MB) The limit is 25MB. Is there any way of getting around this aside from hosting it / splitting the document in two?

thanks!

Want it to be as easy as possible for them tbh. Is there not a format i can save it in that compresses it? No software online that can make the file size smaller?

Depends on the document, and whether it is easily compressible or not. I would try 7zip, but I'm guessing the other person won't know how to use that?

Compress some of your images?

This tbh, if it's image heavy chances are you've scaled images in the document from a larger size down. Word tends to keep the original resolution image in the file in case you want to print at a high dpi or rescale the image up at a later date.

Try taking some of the originally large images and resizing them to a smaller size while still keeping the same quality in something like photoshop or paint.

As previously said, if its image heavy, change the images, you can do this with a couple of clicks for all the images depending on the version of word you are using, it will take it down to less than 1mb
