My first foray into this section of the forum.

A few shots from my trip round the North Atlantic Ridge in Iceland. Apologies if they fall a little short of the high stndards normally found in this part of the forum I am just starting out!

Like this one, looks like a shot a sightseer on Mars would take :)

Amazing photos, what lens please :)

A couple from a recent walk from my house - sorry for the HDR but those clouds made me do it - honest! Two lighthouses for the price of one. Couldn't quite summon the effort to walk up the hill to get the third.

Im embarrassed to say they were all taken with my battered compact shooting in panoramic mode, nothing more. As pointed out above a Fuji Finepix J30. :(

I have yet to purchase a DSLR and simply spent some time practicing while I have been working out here in Iceland. Its dirty and wet work so would not risk a shiny new camera. ;)

This is the sort of photography that I love however and I will soon be asking for recommendations for some DSLR gear to take things a step further. For now though I thought these came out pretty nice! (I did have about 200 or so that did not come out to my liking heh)

Glad people appreciate them however :)

They're lovely shots. The best camera is the one that you have with you :)

I am seriously shocked that a compact took those pictures, they look amazing, some of them are some of the best panoramas ive seen.
