All of the team bikes cost pretty much the same.
The Orbea frames are very nice though, the sweeping molded seat stays are gorgeous.

Looks like the big guns might regret letting him get that lead like they did!

It has been a tad dissapointing though, Nobody seems to have had that extra 1% to push away, I guess it will be left to the alps next week, possibly stage 18 being the decider on thursday?

What do the riders use the newspapers for? Seen a few now grab a copy and stick it up their jerseys.

Apparently it is good protection against the wind on the descents.

Descending down cold mountain roads at 60mph+ wearing just a thin lyrca jersey is quite cold

The paper significantly reduces wind chill on the riders chest.

Been very disapointed in Andy Schlek. Seems to attack no one follows, gets back to pack and stares them out... repeat 10 minutes later.

I think it will all come down to the TT on Saturday.

Also there seems to be lots of slides on the decents at silly slow speeds Voight was almost pedestrian and still slipped? :confused:

If Voeckler (current yellow leader) can stay close to the leaders on Alpe d'Huez and he's not going to lose 2m 6sec in the time trial. Seems pretty straight forward for him to win

I have a feeling several of the lead group were keeping something back today. I see stage 18 and 19 being very lively.
