Idiots who tailgate

I mean seriously, what is going on in these people's brains ?

It seem's to be getting worse, and it's not just one specific type of driver, it

seems to be drivers of all age's and backgrounds.

I had it today, youngish lad in a new fiesta, I am in a line of six or so cars all

doing 30-35 in a 30 limit, mister moron comes up behind me and proceeds to

drive 2ft off my rear bumper :mad:

, do these idiot's not realise that I cannot

go any faster than the car in front of me.

Why I mean just why do people do this, ive had middle aged mums doing it

with kids in the car.

I do tend to increase the gap between me and the car in front of me.

All driving is getting worse. Because unless your drunk, speeding or tiered you aren't doing anything wrong and the lack of police on the road.
I would love police to crack down on tailgaters and lane hoggers.

I'd love police to watch a video of traffic around the M4/M5 interchange and also the northbound slip onto M5 at Aztec West then fine/give points to all the muppets who really are dangerous drivers!

This happens loads in a morning. Some days when i am in a bad mood i consider eyeballing the guy behind me and the second he takes his eyes off me ill slam the brakes on and get a nice juicy payout!

Then again knowing my luck he would be uninsured or something.... makes you wonder why they do it really, in the wet they would have zero chance of not hitting you if you had to stop quickly.

Wonder if rear facing cameras are the solution? If you could get people given points for stupid driving I could see them becoming very popular and driving standards rising!

Forgot to mention, a police car came the other way, matey boy instantly backed

off, as soon as the police car had gone he's back on my tail.

So he knew he was doing wrong, what are they trying to achieve ?

I actually had a police car (don't think it was a traffic car) tailgating me once! Must have been in a rush to the donut shop.

I hate it most when the traffic slows and the person up my arse is stopping me from backing away from traffic in front.

Hate getting chips on my car! Makes spending serious £££ detailing absolutely pointless.

While im at it, who hates people who overtake on new loose road surfaces? Slow down to stop the bumper getting trashed the other day and some dick in an S13 floors it past and puts a nice cluster of scratches on a brand new painted bumper. Argh!

It was a marked car but it was dark and I couldn't see who it was, I only found out because I took a wrong turning and had to go back around a roundabout, was so surprised when I saw it was the 5-0!

The ones that really annoy me on the motorway are the ones that tailgate you then you pull over to let them past and they go past at 1 mph more! Makes me scream, "why the hell were you tailgating if you are not even in a rush to get past!?!?!?!?!".

I've literally done this before, and I've left it until i cant see the bonnet before thinking "you know what, I dont think hes going to slow down with me!" lol

This isnt just a one time thing either.
