Just wanting some feedback on this site "careerjobs.com" and if anyone had any workings with them etc,

I put my CV up on a Job site etc and I get a call from a guy at careerjobsuk.com basically saying they'll train me to become a MCITP for a "fraction" of the price which is £80 a month (a "commitment/admin" fee).

As long as I commit to them and do 10-12 hours of learning a week and I just do this in my on time while keeping my current job. Then when I get my MCITP after 3-4 months they help me find a new job ...

now to me this sounds and fishy so can anyone shed any light on it ?

The exams are only £80 each and you need about 4/5 I think for certification. Or as little as two exams for some of the easier certs.

So doesn't seem like a good deal to me..

iirc exams have gone up to £120/130 now and there are about 5 of them for tis particular one again iirc just seems like theres a catch I havent got any literature of them yet so I think the con would be to easy to spot

How do you get to that conclusion.

4/5 exams at £80
or
3/4months at £80 a month.

It sounds like an amazing deal, probably to good a deal.

Because logically they're going to be making money for themselves.

So you'd end up paying 3/4 months @ 80 pm to get the two-exam certification. Probably. One thing's for sure, they probably haven't made a business out of losing money on each student ;)

Problem is, that £80 per month is usually over a long period, not just a couple of months, like you're paying back a loan.

An MCITP course (my pet hate here, which one??? MS do a few...) like the EA can cost around 6k from some boot camp type providers, so that £80pm could be for say 3 years.

I could well be wrong but have seen similar schemes like this where you do sign up for x years worth of payments.
