Hey, I've got a Coolermaster HAF 932 Advanced with the stock fans,

I was wondering if i'd see any benefit from changing the fans,

Currently the top and side both have 1 x 230mm x 30mm fans running at 700rpm.

The case supports up to 4 120mm fans on the side and 3 120mm fans on the top.

Would putting new fans in be advisable for greater airflow through the case??
Judging by the specs (Greater fan area) the change should give me better airflow, is it worth it?

According to this you should have one 230mm fan at the front, one 230mm fan on the side, one 230mm fan in the roof of the case and one 140mm fan at the rear.

As long as the side and front fans are on intake and the roof and rear fans are on exhaust it sounds like you should have plenty of airflow. I personally wouldn't bother putting more in, but if you're concerned the most I would do is put more powerful/better fans in. But they obviously come with a price both in terms of cost and noise.

If you do go down the replacement road, look for fans with high airflow, modest rpm and and as little noise as you can go.

The fan in the front and back I'm not so bothered about at the moment but in the fullness of time I'll probably change them to higher speed models, Noise isn't really much of an issue as I use my computer with a headset for everything and I have some wireless speakers that are rarely used, would a fan controller be a worthwhile investment to turn the fans down when the computer is left downloading overnight?
