Lost mobile on train to Paddington/Reading

Now, I got the train from Reading to Twyford and fell asleep on said train and woke at Langley. I proceeded to get off the train and another back to Twyford.

Again, fell asleep and woke at Reading! Sod this I thought and I went to my mums in Reading for a snooze lol. Yes, I was rather stinkingly drunk after a night out with my sister.

Now, when I walked out of Reading station I realised I had left my phone, and knew there was no point in going back in to look for it in the state I was in.

This was around 7am in the morning, I have rang First Great Western but they can only advise I ring Paddington as the phone has not turned up on their records yet.

Would I simply be better off ringing each individual station on that line (about 15!) or should I just wait for a few days and ring back?

To add insult to injury, my stupid self in the state I was in several hours before decided to place my driving licence in between the silicone case and the back of my phone as every time I pulled money out of my pocket my licence dropped out!

So, 2 birds one stone due to a moment of drunken stupidness.

What is my best option? I got the IMEI number ect ect.

Have you tried phoning your mobile to see if anyone answers and can tell you where it is?

Give it a ring. Otherwise report it if you're on contract so they don't run up your bill.

Call ya provider and cancel the phone via the IMEI number at least and report ya Driving Licence missing to DVLA & Police

Already reported the phone missing, about to request a new licence through the DVLA.

Use HTC Sense to lock it and display a message saying "Call xxxxx to claim your reward"

This. My mate left his phone on the tube on Saturday, I rang his number and a nice chap picked up the phone and said he would mail the phone back using recorded delivery.

Assuming it arrives it puts your faith back in humanity

My mum called it the morning I lost it, once it rang, second time straight to voicemail.

As for using HTC sense to display that message, how is this possible? I am running a custom rom on it at the moment.
