I bought a three mobile broadband dongle a week ago to take with me on holiday (still in the uk) and I've come to use it and it doesn't seem to want to work.
It installs fine and when you go to set it up it says the dongle is not connected but the Green light is on and if it wasn't connected it wouldn't of installed the software :S
So I'm just wondering what I could do to make it work.

Thanks :) :D

Update your Mac OS X first of all and download any latest software from 3 themselves. Often the software from the 3 dongle is out of date. Also see if you can test the dongle in a Windows machine. If it works fine, then you know it's a Mac issue but if not, then you should be able to get an exchange from where you bought it.

Tried a different usb socket?

I've tried them both and I get the same message

may need updating, software/firmware. Go to the website of the dongle manufacturer.

I'm on holiday now so I can't, my fault really I should have sorted it before I went

I updated it all before I went, but as I said before its probably my fault for not sorting it before I went on holiday
