So I come back into the world of computers and find that now my Core i5 750 (@2.67 GHz) is now old fashioned. Great. So it's all about 'Sandy-bridge' now, is it? And I suppose I'll need a brand new motherboard for that, too? Well I can't afford all that right now.
So, first things first... Will my good ol' i5 750 be satisfactory for another year or two's gaming? I'm talking about the latest games (Skyrim, mostly!).
Secondly, I'm probably going to be upgrading my graphics card from an ATI HD5850 to either Crossfire-mode, or an Nvidia 560ti. However, if I do upgrade to the latest generation GPU, would I be noticably bottle-necked by my now old Core i5 750?
Thanks.
