Is Andy the team leader, or is it "even" between the Schlecks?

According to the interview with Frank afterwards, the plan was for andy to attack early and the rest of the big names would work hard to bring him back, then frank would attack up the final climb.
Didnt go to plan, but worked out well for andy.

Cav was outside the stage time limit but as he was in a group of 80+ he stays in the race but loses 20 points. He still leads by 15 points though.

Last proper day tomorrow IMO. Time trials aren't nearly as exciting as racing up mountains, but that's probably what will ultimately decide the winner. And as for Sunday it's just a procession into Paris really, supppose they have worked bloody hard for the last 3 weeks

Aye not a big fan of time trials here either but Saturday in Grenoble could be very exciting if there are mere seconds separating the top few riders.

I had dinner last night with some guys who did the etape this year which is today's stage. They did it in about 6.5 hours and said they were very close to throwing their bikes off the edge of a cliff afterwards hehe.

If its wet like it was in the Daphine Libere, the small descent at the end of the TT is tricky especially on a TT bike.

I wasn't worrying about this issue before I read this. So if he finishes in another groupetto outside of the time limit like yesterday he could lose the Green jersey to Rojas without Rojas doing anything

I fully expect hom to win on the Champs Elysse though. He's pretty much owned that stage for the last 3 years

LOL, maybe it is cycling parlance for something I'm not aware of or it's a mistranslation by ITV4 from his Spanish interview. It said he was bonking the last 10km.

Bonking mean running out of energy, basically getting your nutrition strategy wrong. I thought it was funny that while he was saying that the only sponsor you could see was SIS on his cap. SIS who look after his nutrition.....

I know he's been within touching distance for the past week or so but if it wasnt for Cadel Evans dragging him yesterday there is no way he would have retained it.
