well looking to upgrade my graphics next month,
upgrading from said item above, is the ASUS 768 directcu ii version,

im looking at the 560 ti, looks a nice card and a decent boost in fps on the anandbench tests.

the 460 runs most things fine, but it does stutter when cranking visuals right up i.e crysis, gta4, Metro 2033.

budget id say would be about £185, would sell the 460 to put towards it.

any recommendations? preferably nvidia as i use a 9600gso now for physx too. (altho would probably get rid of aswell)

cheers for any answers x

id pick up 570, but if you wanted to keep to budget a 560 would be a good upgrade. Maybe SLI later on if your good at saving :)

i did look at the 570's but cant stretch too £250 im afraid, is there much difference from a 560 and the ti?

sorry cant answer that, never really looked into the difference with TI version. The price difference id say they would be better but maybe not much difference.

IMHO a 460 to 560ti isn't really a worthwhile upgrade. More of a sidestep.
I would get another 460 if you are struggling for power.

If you can, then get a 570, otherwise I would wait a while for 6XX cards.

You can get around £70 for your 460 so not really that worth it.

The 560ti has more power and IIRC cores than the 560 but the 560 easily overclocks to a ti speed.

Only thing with sli'ing the 460 is that the exact get gets way overpriced now, most places don't even stock them even more either so it's a job for the bay.. And prices just jump :-/

would it make a difference if the cards were different brands?.. thought they had to be the same
