more ram effect OC'ing

Im currently choosing the parts for a sandybridge I5 2500k

and like everyone else im going to OC.

Planning on 8GB ram, if I went to 16GB, would this effect OC'ing / stable
 
Filling all 4 RAM slots can affect overclocking.

You may have to settle for a lower overclock than you would get using 2 slots or it may just take a bit more tweaking to get the same overclock.

+1 when I had 2x1GB Dominators in my rig I could OC to ~4.3 (as per the sig) but when I got another two Dominators (4x1) I wasn't able to anywhere near that, in fact it would struggle at stock speed, I had to boost the RAM voltage just to get it stable...

Bought 2x2gb G.Skills from the MM and it clocked back up to 4.3 first try :)
