Anyone fancy meeting up at Tees Barrage some day(would need notice to get day off work)/evening/weekend?
I did a kayak trip with the Scouts may 2009 down the Wye river, was about 30 miles in 3 days i think.
How did you guys get more into the hobby? just find a local centre or something?
I'll be rubbish, but give me a bit of time to get back in the swing of things and get used to my RPM again and I might take you up on that
This is when I was good: - Llangollen town falls.

Ah the number of people that swim down there on the Dee tour
I've never swum those falls, thankfully - but I'm mostly pleased to have avoided the over-enthusiastic safety volunteers (I think) from "rescuing" me.
I'm gonna go to Sleningford tomorrow, I think. Not that there'll be any water in the Ure.
Well, I went. There wasn't much water. Damn farmers stealing it all for irrigation :|
Had another day on the Dee, Llangollen yesterday. Grade 2 white water, no swimmingI'm loving this. Going again a week on Monday, can't wait
I didn't ache as much this morning as I did last week. I think I need to do some stretching/yoga exercises and press ups to help with my upper body strength, and the twisting and turning.
