How many Kayakers are there on here?

In Lanark? Come join us at Heriot-Watt after Christmas. It's a bit of a drive though, so you may be better joining the Glasgow uni one which is very good.

Dont think you can join the glasgow uni one unless you're a uni/gym member.

Yeah it's the same at every club, you need to join the sports union to join the club but students from any university can join the sports unions. Or at least that's how HW do it

Hey guys,

Keen (ex) kayaker and (ex) Sailing instructor looking to get back on and definately in he water.

Used to have a RPM, the best boat i've ever used on camber sands (sea) and until the endof 2009 I had a liquid logic Lil Joe.......I might be 28, but thinkin about when I sold it still makes me wana cry.

Anyone Kayaking around the south east?

Im in teesside, could probably get hold of somebody?

Im just looking into kayaking now, got a 2 hour lesson purchased for christmas, done it years ago but never since!

I'm a kayaker - nothing serious as I only have a SOT but I love getting out there, it was my cheapest way of getting on the water again until I buy another racing dinghy.

I was out just last saturday in the freezing weather (thank god for drysuits and thermals) along the Teignmouth estuary :)

Im a kayaker.

Go to HPP National Water Sports Centre with NTUCC every wed and then randomly through the week :p

Trips to Wales, Alps etc throughout the year :)

Another kayaker here, only a few months in with a local club but I think I've got the bug. Currently running with loan kit and considering making the jump but the moths in the wallet may delay that for a while...

Did a lot of kayaking when younger got up to a pretty good level, paddled with the late Andy Jackson once, he was a great paddler as you would imagine, one of the best, lived in country and had some good rivers right on doorstep. Max grade 4 stuff, maybe a grade 5 once or twice. Seen a few people get totally trashed in stoppers. Kind of lost the passion though(years ago) wish I hadn't as we used to get such a buzz out of scoping out rivers and having a good day out.
