I seen someone has it on steam, I want it on steam but can't find it any idea?

They may have just added their game client under "Add A Non Steam Product"
to their games list.

This is the most likely cause.

I can't see Valve putting LoL on Steam when DotA2 is out soon...supposedly.

Was this sometime around the end of 2009 to mid 2010??

I think so.

I'm not sure of the reason. I hear Riot got a ragey at Valve over DOTA 2.

I know there's whole heaps of trouble over the trademark, caused by an employee at Riot. "Defence of the Ancients" isn't going to appear anywhere in the game I hear, It'll just be DOTA everywhere.

Yeah Valve employed the guys who did DotA end of 2009 and then mid 2010 they trademaked DotA but they couldn't use Defence of the Ancients because the DotA-Allstars guys had that.

Pretty petty really. I would have thought Valve would be more than happy to keep supporting DotA-Allstars and all the other community sites.

They used to sell a bundle pack, where for £15 you unlocked a load of stuff like heroes for the account, and gave you loads of riot points. It's since been removed from the store. It got pulled quite recently, sometime in the second half of last year.

Yes, perfectly fine.

However to use the new launcher, I had to download it from the LoL site, install it, then move that installation into the correct location in my Steam folder.

I can never be bothered to setup my Non-steam games (as I have 0 games in steam) although I may buy abes odyssey seen someone playing it and it's £2!!
