You could get dual Pentium 2 boards as well. Slot 1 IIRC.
And of course, you had multi processor systems running before then as well. Dedicated machines of course!

I always like to use carpet to give my components extra static too.

Glad someone said it, seeing the components placed on the dead polar bear of a carpet was causing me pain.
Still don't see what's happening though...

Dual PIII system?

It is cabled nicely though. :)
And that case looks very neat.

What a nice bit of shag pile.

Well here i am thinking i'm going to see some card on card action, you can tell i'm disappointed.

I had a dual PIII system for a while EPOX DV3A with two 800MHz CPU's mad a right racket and wasn't actually very fast!

I too had a twin set up, as above 2x800mhz and still took ages rendering photoshop..

Plus I recently deposited mine in the local council tip rather than putting it in a shinny new case, photographing it extensively and uploading it to the internet. It seemed a far more fitting end for it now I just need to dispose of the ancient P4 1.8Ghz and the first generation Mini-Itx VIA board and I will have cleared out all my unused old rubish!
