An 18 rating version of Jurassic Park. Now that would be worth watching, more of a thriller but with 50 T-rex's tearing peoples head off and stuff!!!.

I'd like a higher age rating Jurrassic Park. I enjoyed the first but I'd like something a bit more adult, although of course that won't happen.

Jurassic Park is one of my favourite films but the sequels were very poor.

I thought they decided not to when Michael Crichton died last year.

There has been a lack of good Dino films lately, so a nice refresh of JP would be good to see.

I have very fond memories of the first film and watching it at the cinema on holiday for my birthday

My kids love the first one as well, it's a magical film and I just hope he has a decent story and not just doing it for the sake of it.

But it could make great use of 3D.

The only way the original could have been better is if it had stuck more closely to the book.
Especially regarding which characters survived.

The other 2 were just steaming piles.

Heh, come one. Lost World had its moments of being quite entertaining.
"Don't go into the long grass!" for one.

Although I agree the first was in another league despite its flaws.

I don't see why, anamatronics looks terribly these days, as filming quality and styles has changed and as CGI has gotten better and cheaper, anamatronics has been rendered both obsolete and unnecessary, the only reason they used it is because it was cheaper and looked better than the then current CGI.

If you mean by 'filming quality and style' the awful preoccupation that all directors seem to have these days with super-close up spinning around crazy action where you can't see what's going on, I for one would gladly welcome the return of the medium-wide shot where I can actually tell what is attacking whom.
