Going out for the day, but have got it taped and am going to refrain from looking at the scoreline! Can't wait for todays game, its going to be brutal. Not bothered who wins, just want to be entertained and hope that todays games proves to be an excellent advertisement for Rugby League in this country. Come on Wirepie!
 
I think the winners of today will take some stopping in the cup. I think the losers will go on to win the GF. It will take a big squad and lots of luck with injuries to win both.

I hope its a cracker, but I also hope the 4:30pm kick off doesn't cause any 'problems'.

I would hardly say you were terrible! Played well, but the likes of Tomkins and Leuleuai are just too hot to handle. Silverwood had a good game I thought apart from a missed high tackle near the end, but it would have been inconsequential had he have got it right anyway.

A very entertaining game though.
 
Pathetic Rovers performance today. Just pathetic.

I'm almost about to jump on the bandwagon to get Morgan out now. He picks his favourites all the time, the likes of Scott Murrell (who is just awful this season), and picks them over the likes of Matt Cook who put in a MOTM performance last week and doesn't even get a look in this week. Cook was only picked last week out of desperation. Just clueless defending, error after error, mistake after mistake. At least get Morgan out now so a new coach can have a chance to build a new squad.

And you thought Warrington played badly! Season over. I don't even want us to get into the playoffs. What would be the point?
 
I talked about their being next to nothing between Wire and Wigan. If Briers had been fit and Deacon had been injured it might have been a different story. Both play a similar organising role. Wigan seem to raise their game when they need to (Saints away, Giants at home), but then cruise unconvincingly against the lower ranked teams. That's a major difference between SL and NRL. Wigan and Wire will play 10 matches all season at that intensity. It's no surprise we come up short in Test matches

Having said all that, I'm made up! Saints in the semi final as well.
 
Phew, we have a licence! I did NOT see that coming with regards to Crusaders and Wakefield though! Crikey!

This is a joke the players haven't even been told why the license was withdrawn! Moss and Roberts are the biggest scum in the sporting world!! They are single handedly going to ruin two clubs! How they can get away with what they are doing is a disgrace they are ****ing *****!!! :mad:

Are you a RL fan or just an interested observer Azza?

I was stunned to hear Wakefield's name read out on the list of teams to have licenses this year. Like most of the RL world, I am quite simply, stunned that Crusaders were chopped. I thought it was nailed on the Wakey would go down.

I am glad Widnes got in though and looking at the Crusaders fanbase, its really hard to understand how they could ever have sustained such a business with such low attendances.

I also thought that Halifax should be in with Widnes, with Wakey and Cru down. Surely Halifax had a better application that Wakey.

Unbelievable, just unbelievable. Did Crusaders jump before they were pushed? To not tell their employees is unforgivable.

How did Wakefield get a second chance before Halifax? Why should Wakefield make any attempt to get a new ground - they haven't done anything about it for 3 years and still got back in.

You can usually rely on the RFL to stuff things up, but this is incompetent even by their own incredibly low standards.
