Classics On The Common - Harpenden - 27th July

Just a heads up really as this is a really cool event which is happening tomorrow. Entry is free for spectators. I'll be there in the GT6. Should be around 1200 cars there this year.

It has always been well attended. Last year just in the Ferrari section there were two F40's and one F50 :cool:

It was an awesome event this year. So many nice cars where there. The atmosphere of the whole event was fantastic. Everyone there seem to have a genuine interest in the cars which is quite refreshing compared to some of the shows that I have been to. I really would recommend going next year if you are local.

Classic & Sports car even put an article up on there site and even my car got in a photo on there

(Even though it is behind a very very nice AC Ace)

I didn't manage to get photos of everything, but the stand out cars where the two F40's, Ferrari 275, Lamborghini 400gt and many many more. Anyway, here are my photos from the event.

Bugger I was there yesterday - didnt know there were gonna be some OcUKers there though! Lovely day and some great cars - loved that unpainted Cobra. I have to admit I have a soft spot for the Nissan Figaros

@OP - was your TR6 reddish and on the second field near the cricket field? Think I saw it, quite near to the second F40...

I can't really see the attraction myself. However the Figaro wasn't the worst Micra based car there. Did you see the Mitsuoka? Its a Micra made to look like a Jag Mk2.

Na I didnt see Mitsuoka - dno why I like the Figaros, must be the headlights. Rather have that 275, man that was gorgeous...

It was a huge turnout this year, more people that I have ever seen. Last 3 years it has been poor weather so I think this year the whole of Harpenden decided to go!
