Social engineering is a dangerous tool, it has to be well planned. And it works, there are plenty of examples, positive discrimination of women in the work place is one, and there are other examples.

What labour did ... worst than having done nothing.

Do you mean where Peter Sissons said the mindset of the BBC was left-leaning or have you got something else in mind? It has never been that the BBC isn't biased but simply that it's still better than many other sources and provided you are aware of the bias of a source it doesn't have to become instantly useless.

Where exactly are you going out and are you doing something to attract the ire of people? I know lots of people with strong English accents (and indeed a number of people from a wide variety of countries) who've lived in Scotland for a number of years with little to no trouble - that's not to say that all Scots are friendly towards people from other countries but if the problem remains consistent no matter where you go then sometimes it might be worth questioning if the issue is not how you sound but rather how you act.

The Great 'experiment' that was undertaken without our consent has done untold damage to the societies of Europe and we are now experiencing the start of these troubles and I would fully expect things to get a whole lot worse of the coming years with increased economic migration as the worlds food and oil start begin to fail to match the crazy growth in population.

Immigration was a great success in the 1940s 1950s people came into help rebuild the country but why are they still coming in 2011, when their are no jobs, the country has no money to build the infrastructure needed for all these "immigrants" ,people from countries that are such dives and backwards that the people offer nothing to this once great country.

I am not racist, I am not against immigration but people that came in during 00s need to go back home. Too many criminals and uneducated people have settle in the UK.
