I ride a Suzuki GSX650F. At 6' 2", I think I'm a little taller than Suzuki anticipated because at dual carriageway speeds I get a lot of noisy buffeting air around my helmet and it means I have to duck down a little bit to reduce the noise.

This isn't all that comfortable with the upright riding position that the bike has so I'm thinking about getting an aftermarket screen. At the moment I'm considering a Puig touring screen, however I'm not knowledgable in this area at all.

I'd appreciate any info or advice.

Some of the touring screens look huge and nasty. Powerbronze make some really nice double bubble screens. Maybe worth a look to see if they do one for yours.

Unfortunately "small and neat" isn't very effective in directing air up and over a tall rider.

I have the MRA screen on my SV and it gave a significant improvement for me, but then again I'm only around 5'10". Mines a fixed screen, but they also make a touring screen that has an adjustable spoiler at the top. Excellent quality screen though, perfect fit and decent thickness plastic unlike the flimsy cheap ones.

Im 6ft 1 and a double bubble on my old GSXR did a great job of deflecting the wind, only had to drop my head down over 130/40ish... that was a Puig too, great quality screens.

Im 6ft 3 and only have to dip my head to clear the blast with my Powerbronze double bubble. I think to avoid the draft sat bot upright would mean sticking a screen the size of a shed door to the front :p

I think a screen that size might ruin the aesthetics a little. :D

I'm hearing good things about the Puig double bubble screen. I think I shall investigate that option.

Here is a dark double bubble screen (from Power Bronze) on my k9 GSX 650F. I'm 5'11.

I think you can just make it out on the front. I can get better pics for you if needed.

OK, update time! I went for the Powerbronze double bubble screen. It arrived yesterday and I spent a couple of hours today installing it. Here's a little photo montage for you.

The pics were taken on my phone so aren't exactly technical masterpieces.

Top left is the original screen. Top right is halfway through with the screen removed. Bottom left is the same showing all the dash removed. Bottom right is the new screen.

Huzzah! Looks quite good. As to any aero improvements, I'll report back on Monday after I've taken the bike to work.

A tip for anyone fitting a screen - use a magnetic screwdriver! I managed to drop a screw and it fell into a tiny gap, getting lodged somewhere around the light fixture. I had to remove the whole front section of the fairing to retrieve it!

Moribus, screen looks great, are you still happy with it? what is the procedure for fitting it, just undoing a few screws and removing the dash to fit the screen? aside from the lost screw how long would it have taken you? can a mechanical retard do it just with a screw driver / allen keys ? DJKav that cargo net is a great idea just ordered one thanks ! any other mods you guys recommend aside from exhaust ??
