I played it for a couple hours and I'm not overly impressed.

1. The weapons don't have that precise feel BC2 had. They feel and look unrefined and blobby like MOH. I normally use the ironsights but on this you're forced to use the stupid scopes which look totally out of place.
2. The flailing legs in front of you when you jump are overly distracting. You can only really jump things head-on, not from the side.
3. There's way too many unlocks. What's the sense in restricting the outfit of new players, when the people that have been playing it a while will be totally overpowered in comparison.
4. The GUI/font size is obviously ported over from console, doesn't need to be that big.
5. The sounds are too reminiscent of MOH. The weapons sound flat and dull.
6. Map is another linear affair lacking imagination. If any of you have ever played Bad Company 1 the rush maps on that were so much more interesting.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR DOWNLOADING AND PLAYING THE WINDOWS PC ALPHA


Download Origin. - http://www.origin.com/download
Start Origin, and click on the "gear" icon on the main page directly to the left of your Origin name.
Select "Redeem Product Code."
Enter the 20 digit Code shown above, exactly as it appears, and hit continue.
Click on "My Games" in Origin, and download the client.
If the client doesn't appear right away, select the "gear" icon and select "Refresh My Games."
Download, then launch the game through either Origin or by going directly to Battlelog.
 
1. Ironsights are poor, really does lead to spraying at the spot icons which people moan about as you have to unlock the scopes to use them!

2. Jumping bugs me too, you can't hop over 2 things in succession, have to wait for the animation to stop, then jump again!

Just had my first QTD and now it won't load again, reports 'A generic game error was reported, please try again. ( code: 5 )' from the Battlelog Game Manager when i try to join a server, grr! Rebooting now...
 
Makes me lol, people play this alpha and relay info back to here as if theyve just paid £30 for the game and work for a gaming magazine writing a final review :rolleyes::rolleyes:

I'm sure people realise it's an alpha but of course they're going to comment on that is bad or good about the game. They're talking about problems that are happening right now. It's not a particularly weird thing for them to do.
