Does your girlfriend or wife ever moan about you being on your PC ??

Theres some TV I like, The Walking Dead for one.. but theres not a great deal on at the time we decide to watch TV. We do use lovefilm now though to compromise but still I'd much rather be at my PC. At least I can interact with the people that'd turn my brain to mush if I didn't shoot them in the face. Some TV (Jeremy Kyle) needs an interactive FPS element preferbly through the red button :)

She doesn't really enjoy watching me play games like cod/cs/bf2 when its purely against other people, she likes some of the single player but mostly likes games like deadspace. Right now she's playing Killing Floor a lot with us, well worth a fiver.. didnt think it'd make her want her own PC though.. and l4d2.. come to think of it, its no wonder she likes the walking dead heh.

Though in her defence she did try to get into gaming a little before, bought me an xbox after I tried everything to fix mine and had a good argument with a guy on ebay who said he'd "gone to prison" before if I didnt send his stuff back after he sold me a dud... anyway I'm side tracking there. After she saw the games on xbox (l4d2 actually) she bought herself one heh but I just dont really like FPS on xboxs so now its a media server through the wireless router :D (mostly) and she plays the kinect a lot.

We'll see how long it lasts, too good to be true comes to mind.. lets see if she wants to play bf3 ;) she did say she thought the graphics were stunning and actually thought one was a real photo so perhaps thatll sway her.. that its pretty.
 
Didn't have a problem until she joined Failbook and started selling old baby clothes on ebay, then she wanted to hog it.
It was a good excuse to build a new up to date gaming rig.
Just in time for BF3 ;)
 
Wife doesn't care. But then I don't sit on it nearly as much as I used to. Since I do shift work I can do most of my PC and gaming stuff while she is at work so in the evenings we often sit down together to watch something. At the moment that something is Bones.

I imagine if I sat on my PC upstairs all the time then she might get a little annoyed but she still understands that I like to do it.

If I did have an "old lady" who kept on moaning...I would hire myself some gremlins to do this...

Why would you want to play PES/CoD when she's round :p

I never play games when she's round but not because I'm not allowed, but because girlfriends are more interesting than computer games :p

My view will change when we move in together for sure, but if you are not (ie, she 'comes round') then I don't see why you'd be bothered!
 
Nope, I a very lucky because my GF is a sexy geek :D She use to play WoW (which i try to forget about aha) aaaand if she has all the components she is capable of building her own pc. Win for me.
