I fancy a GTX570, but don't want a leafblower. I've had enough of those.

Which of the myriad models one be the quiet ones ?

If they are all pretty noisy, i'm happy to consider the equivalent ATI card if its going to be quieter. Failing that, i'm going to have to drop some performance to get a card that can't be heard above the normal fan noise.

Might not be everyones 1st choice of card but Zotac have a good reputation and if you register the card in the first 30 days your warranty is extended from the standard 2/3 years to 5 years.

Hello mast3r,
yes i do and the build quality is fantastic , it also runs incredibly cool at 29 degrees idle and pushes 64 degrees tops in Mafia II . Delighted with it. ;)

What's your ambient temperature?

Mine runs at 32oC ambient temperature of 25oC and load (not mafia 2 that is not load tbh...) runs at top 55oC but I have a very cooling oriented fan profile so it gets noisy sometimes.
p.s. I have an ASUS, not that fancy cooling one!

Hi,
ambient temp today is higher than usual due to the lovely weather in Cornwall
Its 22 degrees in this room with the PC. GPU is at 29 degrees . My X9650 is at 31 degrees with its huge Megahalems Cooler on it ;) Oh and running very silently.

I have the MSI 570 and I can barely hear it. Can hear slightly in game, I think fan goes up to around 50%, but you won't notice it at idle, or if you have in game sound.
