Does your girlfriend or wife ever moan about you being on your PC ??

Not really, gives me some stick for being a geek and doesn't get why I meet up with people from the forums. I've missed her calls because I've had my headphones before, and once I didn't hear her knocking to get into my flat for a few minutes.
 
I think it's only natural.

They want your attention, so if you're sat infront of a PC all night then they feel neglected.

My wife has a moan, but to be honest I don't get much time to myself now we're married and living together so I just go on when she's asleep etc.

Trying to get in to photography as a professional, so if I go out on a job and come back to edit photos she knows not to bother me as it's classed as work :)
 
Meh this thread reminds me of my ex I lived with, she would moan constantly.. I'm studying computer science and I'm an avid gamer, what do you expect?

Lest to say she got the boot, my current girlfriend is a gamer chick though, also studies CS... problem solved :D

Only after she is bored with facebook or one of her on-line soap operas (via PPStream) or the baby needs feeding.

As the baby is usually in the sarong (example pic), when getting the offer of cook dinner or look after the baby and am playing Borderlands with my solder son I tend to choose to look after the baby. By tying a bit of string around the hanger I can attach it to my foot and rock the baby safely with my hands free enabling me to continue playing on the living room projector :p. I also get to work out my calves at the same time :D. I have not however thought of a way to keep the dummy in his mouth yet though (elastic bands and cellotape :eek: were both veto'd :D).

Are there any females on this forum? I've never noticed.

I live with my woman, she has her own PC since uni, she'd played games a bit and has a wii. Done more PC gaming in recent year or so, with Terraria, L4D2. She started on Steam when I gifted her Audiosurf (IIRC) or it might have been Peggle 2ish years ago.

However its recently since the Steam sale shes gone further and now plays Borderlands, owns quite a few Steam games too. She thinks shes 'Winning the cool race' :p

My ex used to complain about me being on the PC. Cause it meant she couldn't be. I built her one to use, and everything was fine.
 
I don't really have time all that often to game, but if I am playing when the missus is home she would prefer me to play something she can play as well.
