1 Year of Overclockers

I'm looking forward to a few years time when I can automatically win any argument with an upstart teenager by saying "Boy, I been on these forums since you were a glint in your momma's eye, now be quiet and know your place"

I've been here over a year now. It's been bloody hilarious, some of the epic threads over the last year and a bit :eek::D
 
It will have been One Year as a member of this illustrious community on the 26th July for me.

I have had a blast so far. Argued a lot, Learned a lot more, hope I taught a bit, got permabanned once, readmitted once, made some enemies, made more friends. lost a lot of weight with the support of many, inspired to do what I want by the few.

All in all it has been a great experience and helped me change my life for the better.

Thanks chaps (and ladies). Maybe I can repay the favour one day.

May I ask why you were perma'd?

(Oh and your sig reminded me of a quote that my grandad used to say, which has inspired me to get another tattoo :D)

I got banned for being continuing to barrack someone using my brother as a proxy after I was suspended. The stupid things we do when we are drunk. Anyway, an apology and very welcome and significant support from those who know who they are and I was readmitted. I have since read the FAQs and so now know the forum etiquette and rules.

It's both comforting and reassuring to see so many familiar names that have stuck around for so long - It's a credit to these forums. :)

While I don't post as much, I lurk here all the time, some of the "new" posters are just complete spammers.

Some are useful and bring something to the community but generally its full of just nonsense
