Does your girlfriend or wife ever moan about you being on your PC ??

Not really, gives me some stick for being a geek and doesn't get why I meet up with people from the forums. I've missed her calls because I've had my headphones before, and once I didn't hear her knocking to get into my flat for a few minutes.

LOL this happens to me sometimes when I have a quick L4D2 sesh after work. She gets mad when I lock the door and leave the key in the lock by accident :D

Don't blame her though would **** me right off.

Once left her standing in the rain for 5 mins outside whilst I had my headphones on and phone on slient. Lost track of time :p

Needless to say I didn't dare get on the PC for several weeks solid and made her a lot of nice meals :D

Why would you want to play PES/CoD when she's round :p

I never play games when she's round but not because I'm not allowed, but because girlfriends are more interesting than computer games :p

My view will change when we move in together for sure, but if you are not (ie, she 'comes round') then I don't see why you'd be bothered!

As always Fox wins the thread.
Girlfriends are the best interactive play thing :D

Yup, aint gamed in about 4 days, I'm starting to twitch... but she better get use to me playing on it or I'm off....

It's been the cause of many arguments. Even when I sit and watch the fat/model/dance tv she likes, she gets mad at me for "wanting to be on it" like I'm giving off pc vibes.I usually wait til she goes to bed as we work different hours, but my days off are usually during the week so I game then and spend time with her in the evening. I understand where she's coming from, but I don't think she understands gaming. She likes beat hazard but that's about it. That and wizards lair lol. You gotta find a balance.

Single now, but when I had a GF I didnt feel the need to game...I liked spending time with her even if I did have to put up with crap tv, she then went crazy and got the boot.

Helped me get a perspective on the whole thing though, I do enjoy outdoor activities more now :P

I'm not at all surprised by the high number of "Bitch used to so I dropped her" comments. Goons and their computers, eh? :)

Its probably more like "bitch used to and then she dropped me".

Computers and games are one of the biggest reasons why relationships break down these days so its no surprise really.

My missus used to moan but now she is more concerned with the patio getting layed above her!

Seriously though she does have a moan when WoW Crack has hold of me but I justify it by explaing that I cannot stand most of the rubbish she watches.

Tis strange how playing computer games is a waste of my life but watching Britains next top model is a perfectly acceptable use of my evening isn't it?

Pesky womenfolk!

Has anyone tried playing a portable games console - (PSP/3DS etc..) while having to go through Britain's next top model? What were her reactions?

This is why I believe the Wii U may prove to be quite popular, since you can play using the screen built into the controller. :D
