Ok so i've just orderd a Intel Core i5-2500K 3.30GHz (Sandybridge) and was wondering would this chip work to its full potential with windows xp home 32bit or would it be worth upgrading to windows 7 (mainly for gaming use). Thanks
That would be the equivalent of buying a Ferrari and letting a 10 year old drive it. XP is long dead and buried and there's no reason to be using it on a modern system. If you have XP legacy programs buy W7 Pro for XP mode .
