These forums have had a number of changes, people have come and gone, and returned. Some of us have grown older using this place, and for some have been a bigger/smaller influence on their lives.

I for one believe it's a great community, sure there are some moments of frustration, but over all it's a great place to be.

It's nice to see some meets are starting to return, Motors have always had a few over the year, but it's nice to see GD getting back into them too. :)

I have tried many forums in my time on the interweb's, I can honestly say its the only forum I have used on a constant basis, and stuck with :)





Now where is the free hardware I was promised:p

That's one of the things I'm finding quite nice at the moment as well, I think when the first lot of meets in GD (2004-2007?) were going on I didn't manage to get to any apart from the first(?) Edinburgh meet although I've now met quite a number of those who went along to the early meets but at the moment I've got a bit more ability to go along to the more recent series of meets and it's been enjoyable meeting other people from here.

There are definitely moments where I can't quite believe people have been so crass/ignorant/stupid but in the main there's quite a good mix of people and of the ones that have been to the meets I can't think of any that I wouldn't be happy to meet again - maybe it's somewhat self-selecting and the truly obnoxious aren't likely to come along in the first place but I don't know.
